Great Australian Bites Cairns held at Munro Martin Parklands was a free Australia Day event packed with fun, food and entertainment.

The evening started with Australia Day Awards for outstanding local community members then the parklands came alive with live music, local food, cultural performances and interactive activities for all ages.

Attendees sampled delicious food from a variety of local vendors including BBQ Brothers, Rotary Club of Cairns West, The Hungry Nomad, Mojo Street Food and Mo Mo Express, and enjoyed a wide range of family-friendly activities.

Families also enjoyed exciting local entertainment and performances from artists such as Toshi Sakamoto, Sand & Sea Dance Troupe, Vivien Aisi and Tropic Thunder.
