Great Australian Bites Cairns is a free, family-friendly evening packed with fun, culture and entertainment. This Australia Day, head to Munro Martin Parklands for a relaxed and tropical atmosphere celebrating community spirit, with gates opening at 4.30pm.

The evening will kick off with the Australia Day Awards from 5pm to 6pm, recognising outstanding local community members. After the ceremony, the park will come alive with live music, cultural performances and interactive activities for all ages until 8pm.

Families can enjoy a wide range of free activities throughout the evening, including:

  • Face painting - get creative and colourful
  • Bugzy Bumblebee bubble workshops - blow your own giant bubbles
  • Jumping castle - bounce around and burn off some energy
  • Mini golf - fun for kids and adults alike
  • Palm weaving workshops by WEAVE n ART - learn traditional craft skills

Enjoy an exciting lineup of local entertainment and cultural performances, including:
