Queensland Day events sponsored as part of the 2021 sponsorship program included:
A Steak for the State was a family fun day in Beaudesert focused around a steak BBQ which celebrated the region’s resilience as well as supporting local agricultural and horticultural producers. Two smaller Steak for the State events were also held in Boonah and Tamborine Mountain.

Beef to Beach is a popular family friendly celebration held annually in the Livingstone Shire. The event caters for all abilities and all members of the community featuring free educational and interactive activities, including rides, market stalls, a fun stage program and a Big Beef BBQ.

The Cunnamulla Bowls Club, in association with Paroo Shire Council, presented the Cunnamulla Queensland Day Family Bowls event, featuring lawn bowls for all ages, activities at the club house, markets, a BBQ tea and a live band.

Dysart Homegrown provided a platform for talented local artists by showcasing their artwork as well as promoting Queensland produce and products including beef, pineapple, ginger, mango, avocado, sugar, prawns, wines, cheeses, nuts and coffee.

Fun in the Park celebrated Queensland Day with a concert in the town park that included lots of family fun and coming together to celebrate all things Queensland. There were camel wagon rides, a live band, games for the children, catering by local organisations and markets by community residents and groups.

LUMINOUS is a symbolic annual cultural event that uses a spectacular parade with a stunning display of more than 400 iridescent lanterns to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Brisbane and Queensland. LUMINOUS is a free event that unites community leaders, multicultural communities and every day Queenslanders as a gesture of support and welcome to our newest citizens.

Outback Family Fun Day – Queensland Day 2021 celebrated the beautiful state of Queensland with a broad range of activities such as markets, rides, BBQs and activities for residents and tourists of all ages.

Queensland Day - Celebrating our Diverse Young Queenslanders Festival celebrated our culturally diverse community through a celebration of arts, jewellery making, dancing, food and photo exhibition In the Refugees’ Shoes.

QLDay Family Fun Day 2021 provided a large range of free entertainment including animal farm, jumping castle, pony rides, face painting, super slide, cup and saucer ride, trackless train, climbing wall and face painting. The program also included musical performances and dance events, featuring local school students and groups.

Rally in the Valley engaged residents and visitors of the Boyne Valley to learn about and reflect on Queensland's beginnings while celebrating the development of this part of Central Queensland. Visitors took a nostalgic drive through the Boyne Valley in the Queensland Day Car Rally and enjoyed a re-enactment of Queensland’s beginnings and life in the early 1900s at the Boyne Valley festival.

Sapphires Shine for Queensland Day 2021 invited community members to dress up as a person, place or icon they believed was quintessentially Queensland, marched in a parade and were in the running to win one of many prizes.
We are all Queenslanders Community Fun Day was a full day’s celebration of Queensland, bringing culturally diverse communities together to showcase what it means to be a Queenslander through unique Queensland arts, culture, heritage, sports and lifestyle activities.
